A. General Information

What is UNESA DIMETRIC?

UNESA DIMETRIC is a university ranking program initiated by Universitas Negeri Surabaya to assess and appreciate higher education institutions worldwide that implement inclusive education and disability-friendly policies.

What is the purpose of the DIMETRIC ranking?

The primary purpose of this ranking is to map, assess, and encourage universities globally to provide inclusive environments, accessible facilities, and equal opportunities for students and staff with disabilities.

Who can participate in DIMETRIC?

All higher education institutions, both public and private, domestic and international, that have a commitment to disability inclusion are welcome to participate.

B. Assessment Instruments

What are the 6 indicators of DIMETRIC 2026?

The 6 indicators are Leadership and Regulation, Education and Student Affairs, Research and Innovation, Staff and HR Development, Facilities and Infrastructure, and Collaboration and Partnerships.

C. Registration & Participation

How to register as a participant?

Institutions must complete an online Letter of Intent through the Submission menu, appoint an official PIC, and wait for token verification via email to activate their account.

What are the requirements to participate?

The main requirement is that the registrant officially represents the institution and the institution has policies or programs related to disability inclusion.

Is there a registration fee?

No. Registration and participation in the UNESA DIMETRIC ranking program are completely free of charge.

How long does the registration verification process take?

The verification process for the Letter of Intent takes a maximum of 3x24 working hours. Once approved, the account token will be sent to the PIC email.

D. Technical & Submission

What documents need to be prepared?

Documents include PDF files of the Rector Decree/Policies, academic guidebooks, photo documentation of accessible infrastructure, MoU/cooperation agreements, and links to relevant news coverage.

How to fill out the UDIM instrument?

Access the using your verified account, fill out the organization identity, and upload the supporting evidence for each indicator during the designated period.
